Colored Polyurethane Tubing (PU Tubing) |
| |
- Made from hydrolysis resistant, 85A durometer Ether polyurethane
- Stocked in 10 colors for easy multiple line
identification
- Can be bonded into a multiple tube ribbon -- see Hot Bond
- Clamps not required when used with properly
designed barbed fittings at pressures of 105 psi
or less^
- Naturally flexible for close-in bending --
contains no plasticizers which can migrate and
cause tube hardening or flow contamination
- Resistant to weathering, kinking, tearing,
abrasion, impact, and radiation exposure
- Wide range of temperature resistance: -90°F to
175°F

Notes
Ether-based SUPERTHANE PNEUMATIC PU tubing is resistant to attack from moisture, humidity, and fungus. SUPERTHANE PNEUMATIC has excellent cold temperature flexibility and virtually unlimited flexural life. The superior strength of SUPERTHANE PNEUMATIC makes it more resistant to pressure and vacuum than corresponding sizes of PVC or rubber.
^When used with Thermobarb® fittings, SUPERTHANE PNEUMATIC will not require clamps, provided that working pressures remain at or below 105 psi at ambient temperature.
The ether-based material used in SUPERTHANE PNEUMATIC (PU) tubing is listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF 61).
Other colors and sizes, repetitive
cutting, coiling, and heat-formed shapes, are available
through minimum order. Bonding should be considered for
multi-tube applications. Samples of stock material are
available upon request.
