The application is needed to give insight into the product's use. Some materials offer specific properties that would be more advantageous in certain applications than others. We want to be sure to quote the product we feel would be best suited to your application.

Fluids being conveyed through the tubing/hose will have a direct correlation to the plastic material used. Some materials have a negative reaction with the plastic, and we want to be sure we quote the proper material.

Describe the environment in which this tubing/hose will operate:

(ie: indoors or outdoors, hot or cold, electric shock hazards, chemical hazards, crush/kink hazards, etc.)

The environment is important for quite the same reason as Note 2. Also, such factors as temperature, vacuum/pressure, environmental exposure, etc., can combine to the point where an otherwise acceptable material may now not be acceptable.
